LET’s MIMIC organised a learning event that engaged 15 high school students from the High School of Dimini in rural Magnesia, Greece. The event occurred in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Computer Lab on March 31, 2025. Students engaged in biomimicry for designing solutions inspired by nature to address the United Nations Sustainability Goals (UN SDG’s). The event promoted student creativity and collaboration. Project LET’s MIMIC was presented in an online workshop titled Modelling Critical Thinking and Trust in the AI Era. The workshop took place on November 28, 2024. It presented a good opportunity to introduce project objectives, activities, and results to a European audience with direct interest in innovative, digitally-enhanced learning design for wide purposes and for sustainability in particular. The presentation was delivered by Hariklia Tsalapatas of the University of Thessaly. See the event program
